PlastiSpan expanded polystyrene (EPS) GeoFoam is used in ground fill applications where a lightweight fill material is required to reduce stresses on underlying or adjoining soils/structures. Typical uses for building applications include as a lightweight fill material for landscaping and a compressible inclusion against foundation walls. As well, Plasti-Fab has developed specific engineered products to be used as compressible fill materials beneath structural members.
