DuroFoam® Plus 25 Insulation
Durable, rigid insulation

DuroFoam Plus 25 insulation is a closed cell and moisture resistant
insulation. It is easy to install and can be used in many applications;exterior
sheathing, continuous insulation, basement floor, under slab insulation
and cathedral ceilings. It has an R-value of 4.27/inch for the life of the
product. The addition of the laminated film to the top and bottom surfaces
of DuroFoam Plus 25 insulation board provides a more durable product
that is less susceptible to damage.
DuroFoam Plus insulation resists water absorption so it will retain its
R-value even in applications where severe temperature differentials
occur. Marking provided on the printed face of DuroFoam Plus insulation
assist in cutting to required dimensions and spacing of fasteners into
framing.
• Laminated product
• Thermal resistance - R-value 4.27/in.
• Meets CAN/ULC-S701, Type 3
• Compressive resistance 16 psi
• CCMC 12425-L
4x8 ft 2 ft high bundles
1-1/2, 2, 2-1/2, 3 in. plus special order sizes
DuroFoam® Plus insulation is a closed cell expanded polystyrene (EPS)
insulation with a laminated film applied to both faces. DuroFoam Plus
insulation meets the requirements of CAN/ULC-S701, Standard for
Thermal Insulation, Polystyrene, Boards and Pipe Covering and ASTM
C578, Standard Specification for Rigid, Cellular Polystyrene Thermal
Insulation.

1 DuroFoam Plus 25 insulation meets or exceeds CAN/ULC-S701, type 3 and ASTM C578, type IX.
2 WVP values quoted are maximum values for 25-mm thick samples with natural skins intact. Lower values will result
for thicker materials.
3 The water absorption values are applicable to specific end-use design requirements only to the extent that the end-use
conditions requires submersion under a head of water for an extended period of time.
